Busload immigrants are now in Los Angeles

Los Angeles' mayor has accused Texas of a "despicable stunt" after dozens of migrants were driven to the city from the border. 42 people, including some children, arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. Texas' Republican governor defended the move, stating that towns in his state were "overwhelmed" due to Democratic President Joe Biden's border policies. Los Angeles City Council passed a motion declaring itself a sanctuary city for immigrants, which refers to jurisdictions that limit their cooperation with federal immigration law enforcement. Governor Abbott has transported over 20,000 migrants to democratic-run other towns, including Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Denver.
